1. Our next Super Summer Theatre event at Spring Mountain State Park is  Matilda The Musical, which is scheduled for 7:05 PM, Thursday, 01 September 2022.  

2. Tickets are available on-line at the Super Summer Theatre website for $20.00 per person and the tickets can be downloaded to your smart phone or printed and brought with you to the event.

3. The State of Nevada also charges $10.00 per vehicle for entry to the park, which can be paid upon entry to the park or a pass can be purchased at the Super Summer Theatre website and presented at the entrance gate.  If you have a State Park Pass, this is honored at these events.

5. Matilda is a little girl with astonishing wit, intelligence and psychokinetic powers. She's unloved by her cruel parents but impresses her schoolteacher, the highly loveable Miss Honey. Over the course of her first term at school, Matilda and Miss Honey have a profound effect on each other's lives, as Miss Honey begins not only to recognize but also appreciate Matilda's extraordinary personality. Matilda's school life isn't completely smooth sailing, however – the school's mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, hates children and just loves thinking up new punishments for those who don't abide by her rules. But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts and could be the school pupils' saving grace!

6. The weather is a little cooler at night in the park, so you may want to bring a sweater or blanket.
