For anyone who has not experienced Death Valley, you are in for a treat. Besides camping outdoors in a tent or small RVs (max 19'), there will be several areas to hike, ride bicycles, and the opportunity to play golf below sea level. Daytime temperatures are usually mid to upper 60s with lows at night about 40. Perfect for cuddling.
The cost is only $5 per person per night which includes fire wood. There is a $30 per vehicle park entrance fee unless you have a yearly or senior pass, so carpooling is highly recommended.
I have reserved 2 campsites, for a total of 16 people and 4 vehicles. Additional parking is nearby. First come, first served. There are hotel rooms available reasonably close to campground, but are difficult to get reservations.
You will need to bring your own tent, sleeping bags, mattress pads, camp chairs, food, propane stove and fuel, drink (potable water is available in campsite), eating and drinking utensils, hats, flashlights, and appropriate clothing and footwear.
